- Praise be to Allah to whom belong all things in the heavens and on earth: To Him be praise in the Hereafter and He is full of Wisdom acquainted with all things. Qur’an 34:1

- … Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost. Qur’an 7:23
- … O Thou Creator of the Heavens and the Earth! Thou art my Protector in this World and in the Hereafter; take Thou my soul (at death) as one submitting to Thy will (as a Muslim), and unite me with the righteous. Qur’an 12:101
- Our Lord! Make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy (will), and of our progeny a people Muslims, bowing to Thy (will); and show us our places for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. Qur’an 2:128
